India continued their supremacy in the table tennis competition of the 11th South Asian Games at the Wooden Floor Gymnasium yesterday.

India won both gold and silver medals in the mixed doubles, men's doubles and women's doubles events. India so far clinched all five gold medals.

It was an all India final in the men's doubles and Amalraj and Sanil clinched the gold with an 11- 9, 11- 2, 11 -7 victory over Soumyadeep and Jubin pair. Sri Lanka bagged bronze in this event.

In the women's doubles, Indian Shamini and Madhurika secured gold against their compatriot Divya and Pooja by 11-9, 17-15, 8-11, 12-10. Sri Lankan pair Ishara and Darshini and Nepali pair Basukala and Gita bagged bronze in this event.

In the mixed doubles Indian pair Amalraj and Madhurika defeated their compatriot Soumyadeep and Shamini 15-13, 8-11, 11-1, 9-11, 11-7). In this event Sri Lanka managed two bronze.

The women's singles and men's singles finals will be held today and both will be all Indian battles.
