Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Nurullah, principal of Jamia Younusia Madrasa, passed away due to old age complications yesterday at the age of 84.

He left behind his wife, nine sons, three daughters and lakhs of admirers.

He was buried beside the grave of Fakre Bangal Hazrat Mawlana Tajul Islam on the Madrasa campus here after namaz-e-janaza at district Eidgah ground after Asr prayers.

He was born in Narsigdi district and settled permanently in Brahmanbaria.

He was taken to local Seba Clinic around 7:00am from his residence as he fell ill. He passed away at 7:30am while he was being taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) from the clinic.
